Cloud Kinnekt is your all-in-one solution for Australian business phone numbers, call management, and digital communication. From 1300/1800 numbers to virtual fax and Mobile VoIP, we make staying connected simple, professional, and cost-effective.
A transparent, straightforward process to bring your numbers over to our platform.
Your request is submitted to our upstream carrier within one business day, and your account is charged at this stage.
This usually takes around four business days, though it can take longer if there are delays in processing between carriers.
The cutover is generally 1–2 business days after the port is accepted and is scheduled for you.
Once the port is complete, verify your number works correctly. There's a 4-hour emergency window to return the number if needed.
What you need to know before and during the porting cutover process.
Australian business landline porting is largely manual. Numbers may go offline briefly during cutover as routing tables propagate between carriers. This usually takes seconds to a couple of hours.
Numbers are pre-provisioned in your Cloud PBX before cutover. You can register phones in preparation, though calls won't be possible until cutover.
If you have an existing PBX, incoming calls are automatically routed to your trunk number/IP at cutover. New PBX customers can begin configuration early; calls will route through a generic voicemail until the cutover is complete.
